Episode 2
Loren POV
I was woke up by
Anita telling me to get ready for school that was when I realize I slept
overnight in her room, I mange to stand up to do all my house chores while
Anita was in the kitchen preparing the breakfast. Within 20 minute am done with
the house chores. So I went to dad room to greet him good morning, I knock on
the door but no response, I knock again still the same, so I decided to open
the door myself, I was about to open the door when Anita open the kitchen door
Ohh I forget to
told you, dad has went for a trip this morning Anita said
But why so early
and he didn’t even tell me anything, I said.
He has to leave
early so he would meet up with the flight and he also gave me 20,000 naira
yesterday, he said we should manage it still he comes back next week. Anita
said has she is walking to her room.
I also went to my
room and take my bath. After bathing I put on to my school uniform, spray
little perfume on my uniform, pack my hair in ponytail and went to the dinning.
Anita POV
After leaving
Loren at the door I went to my room and
take my bath. After bathing I put on my school uniform and pack my hair in
ponytail. I pick up my school bag and went to the dining to eat my food, I met
Loren at the dining almost through with her food so I quickly eat mine. Within
20 minutes we are ready to go, the driver is also ready so we enter the car and
zoom off. The driver drop us at the school gate, while walking inside the
school I started admiring the school frontage cause it has really change a lot,
new paint, different types of banner and how they design the school name on the
building and also written boldly ‘success high school’. I and Loren walk inside
the school gate holding each other hands, we were both in the same science department
but different class, I was in SS3 while Loren is in SS1. We were both talking
about the changes in the school. When we were about to depart to each other
class I gave her 1000 naira note out of the two thousand am holding she went to
her class while I also did the same.
I have only two
friends Natasha and Glory they are the best friend I ever had, I really love
them, Natasha can only be disturbing sometimes but I really love her while
Glory can talk ehn she is just like a parrot but I love her for that. As I walk
into the classroom Natasha stand up from her seat and run to hug me while I
also run to hug her and we both met and hug each other. I really miss you,
Natasha said as we were disengaging from the hug. I also miss you too Natasha I
said as we both walk to our seat cause we are all sitting together, our seat is
located third seat to the front. I drop my bag on the long chair and sit down
while Natasha also did the same.
Sorry for the loss
I pray she rest in peace Natasha said looking so sorry. Thank you I said
looking so sad, you have to cheer up and look happy and be very strong dear she
said, I didn’t say anything but just looking at the table I don’t know when
tears started dropping from my eyes. When I realize I quickly clean my face and
fake a smile when I see glory coming to us. We greet each other while she also
said her own about the loss. Natasha and glory were about to start another
discussion when our mathematics teacher enter the class room, immediately she
enter the classroom all the students who were roaming around the class quickly
run to their sit and while some student are murmuring at the back. Will you all
keep your mouth shut, Miss Sharon yelled while everywhere remain silent. Miss Sharon is a very tough teacher all
student fear her so much. We are going to start with revision today she said as
she walks to the whiteboard and wrote ‘Revision’ on the it. Am going to put
some question on the board now and anyone who is not able to solve the question
correctly is in a perfect soup this morning she said and then walk back to the
board to write some question.
Hey you, come and
solve the question on the board she said pointing to our class rep named Samuel,
he collected the marker from Miss Sharon and walk to the board and solve the
question. Wow, correct Miss Sharon said smiling while looking at the board. She
walks back to the board and write two more question on the board. She turns
back to the class and pointed at the tall black guy at the back which I don’t
really know his name. Hey come and solve one of the two questions on the board she
said waiting patiently for the guy to come out and she landed the black marker
on his palm. The guy went to the board but he was unable to solve it. Miss Sharon yelled at him, get out of my
class and go knee down outside, didn’t I taught you this before I say get out
stupid boy she yelled at him again.
Hey
that yellow girl come out and solve the question for me, she said pointing her
hand to our seat, I have already know she was referring to me because am only
the yellow girl on our seat so I quickly stand up and collect the marker from
her and went to the board. It was very easy for me to solve cause have already
solve the question while sitting down so I solve the question and went back to
my seat. Hmm nice one that’s my girl she said smiling at me. What’s your name
dear she ask still smiling, Anita I reply her. Ok keep it up she said, then she
solve the remaining question and end the class and went out. He told the black
tall guy to follow her to the staff room.
